American Buck Saw

Generations of American farmers and woodworkers remember this saw as an absolute necessity for cutting firewood, and for dozens of other odd jobs. Hardwood frame is mortised and tenoned together for maximum strength and stability - just like in the old days! The 30" X 1-1/2" crosscut blade is held by flush-set screws and bolts, and is tensioned by means of a tool steel rod and plated wingnut. All hardware, except rod, are heavily plated to deter rusting. Blade is of blued steel.

This saw is beautiful and extremely well-built. Unfinished hardwood can be oiled, stained, or painted if desired. With a little care, it will probably be passed on to your grandkids.
